emma stone just seems too young and cute to be some sexy love interest with this cast. and all the gangster squad posters have just made me think how goslings face actually isnt that attractive even though overall i still find him hot.

Yeah I adore Emma but this doesn't seem right for her. I feel the same way about some of Carey Mulligan's recent roles.

Drive especially was a really weird fit for Carey Mulligan imo. when I found out the role was originally for a Latina woman it made so much more sense.

the whole she's too "cute and young" to be sexy is just a bit off imo.

the thing is, the age difference to me really just doesnt fit. it makes me think ewwww more than sexy when shes with sean penn and ewww more than sexy with ryan gosling because it looks like she can be his lil sister (and b/c with crazy stupid love i thought they only had platonic chemistry).

true. maybe in this movie ill think her chemistry is more sexual/romantic than platonic with gosling? if that happens ill be pleased.
