Robbie Williams has always been a hit with the ladies but he says he never matched One Direction star Harry Styles' pulling power when he was a teenager. Robbie used to be known for his wild antics as the badboy of Take That but having finally settled down with wife Ayda Field, the singer, 38, has swapped partying for pushchairs after becoming a dad to Theodora Rose.
'I don't think Harry needs any tips from me! He's a magnet, like I've never seen before,' says Robbie. 'I wasn't him when I was 18, that didn't happen to me!'

Former Spice Girl Mel C issued a warning to One Direction—Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, and Zayn Malik. What was she warning the "What Makes You Beautiful" singers about?
Sporty Spice warned the 1D singers that fame is often a fleeting thing. "They seem to be breaking America, which we were lucky enough to do. My advice would be just enjoy it, because so often with success like that, it's over so quickly ... With pop bands, [fame] is often so short-lived that you have to take every opportunity that you can, and it is hard," Mel C says.
Of course the success of the Spice Girls really isn't comparable to 1D, is it? Even though the Spice Girls made it to the top, their reign was a relatively short one. Will 1D outlive them in the music world?
"I would say that you have to rest as much as you can. I think it's harder for boys, as well, but there's lots of evidence that they like a bit of a party. There's no time for hangovers, really. It can be difficult, but I have no sympathy," Mel C says.
Did any of the "Live While We're Young" singers ask the former Spice Girl for her advice? It doesn't seem if they were looking for words of wisdom that Sporty Spice would be a person they'd look to, do you think? Will Harry, Niall, Liam, Zayn, and Louis heed this advice or simply let it run down their backs like rain water?
And while some of it does sound like good sound advice, it truly sounds like the former Spice Girl is trying to say that One Direction will fail—and soon, too.
How do you feel about Mel C giving advice to Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, and Liam Payne? How might Simon Cowell feel about the former Spice Girl advising his boy band?

Robbie Williams & Mel C have something to say about One Direction

Robbie Williams has always been a hit with the ladies but he says he never matched One Direction star Harry Styles' pulling power when he was a teenager. Robbie used to be known for his wild antics as the badboy of Take That but having finally settled down with wife Ayda Field, the singer, 38, has swapped partying for pushchairs after becoming a dad to Theodora Rose.

Robbie has always shown his support to the One Direction boys and has now even compared them to the world's biggest girl band.
'He's beguiling and so are One Direction, they're quite a power together in the same way the Spice Girls were,' reckons Robbie.
'The Spice Girls took over the world and won, and I think the One Direction boys have got a similar chemistry.'
