I always wished they could breed a mini lab. I love their temperament and intelligence, but when a 80 lb lab thinks he's a lapdog, it can be a problem.
it's possible. i have a lab mix. she' half lab, and the other half is a mix of pekingese and cocker spaniel. the mother was small (not as small as a chihuaha tho) the father was the lab, my dog is about the size of a shiba inu.
she's like a mini lab but has a double coat! so she's poofier than most labs i know.
She's a year and a half old and fully grown btw.
