Lindsay Lohan's New Year's Transformation

2013 is already bringing huge changes for Lindsay Lohan.

Just two days after looking really rough in London for New Year's Eve, the 26-year-old actress stepped out looking like a totally different person.

Unlike her NYE meltdown, Lindsay showed up at London's fancy Nozomi restaurant last night, glowing in a black fur jacket and a brand new face.

Here's to new beginnings.

my resolutions were:

- run 1/2 marathon in may...i'm up to 9 miles, so i should be good on that resolution.

- clean and organize my room...i moved in august, and i STILL haven't unpacked everything in my room!!! i haven't done anything yet, lol.

- save money for scotland/england trip in september. ummm...i've saved like $100 for the trip, so not doing so well on that one!

Hah, I'm wanting to go to Croatia in September and I have exactly $0 saved. :P I'm putting all my hope into May, when I have a 3 paycheque month and can basically take one whole cheque and slap it on a plane ticket.

just curious, but how expensive of a ticket is that for you? where are you departing from?

Either Edmonton or Calgary departure, and it'll be anywhere from $1500 to $2200 for the flight depending on which city I land in and whether I connect via London or not. Luckily my accomodations would be mostly free, so it'd be a matter of paying for food.

Instead of trying to find a flight to Croatia from Canada - it would probably be cheaper to get a flight to a) London for a day or two, then book a last minute flight from London to Croatia (could be less than £50 if you're lucky), or fly into Italy and then get the ferry to Croatia.

Canada - Croatia will be expensive because it's not a hugely popular destination as opposed to London/Rome etc.

P.s: Rome was just an example - no ferries leave from Rome

P.p.s: Sorry for the all the comments, I'm obsessed with planning travelling! :P

That's basically my plan. I can fly to Gatwick on Canadian Affair for something like $600 return (depending on timing, of course), so if I did that then caught a Jet2 or RyanAir flight to Croatia, I'd probably save several hundred. Layovers suck, but I can live with it. It just would have been nicer to fly direct for once, ah well.

I can't fly into Italy, though, because I'll be tempted to never leave. ;) That was going to be my 2012 vacation, but it never panned out. I'm hoping for Italy probably next year...or if I can wing it, maybe even alongside Croatia. We'll see.
