I did mine as soon as I got a job that didn't give a shit what I did because I had grown to resent my red hair. Then I broke up with my GF and the first thing was to cut my hair and go back to my natural color.
It's always good to change it up after awhile anyways! Then you don't have that weird dated look some folks seem to love to rock.
