Oh, I agree with that. Like I said below, I think it's obvious that whatever they were going to do, it got tossed out and from that point on, they were just throwing random shit around.
I saw one person speculate that the original plan was probably for Audrey to have Annie's storyline and that Annie wasn't even meant to be a character. Which, just losing Heather Graham would improve S2 right off the bat, lol. But it makes sense if you think about Audrey/Cooper hooking up and it being Audrey in the red room at the end of the series. Ugh, wasted potential.
