Fantasia Barrino caused a firestorm of controversy when she posted a rant referencing gay marriage on her Instagram account. Some fans thought it sounded very anti-gay but the American Idol alum insists she's anything but.
“I Rise ABOVE IT ALL!!! THE WORLD IS GONE MAD. KIDS, THE GOVERMENT, THE church House… Everybody Trying!!!!!!!,” the singer wrote. “It’s a lot that going on that the Bible speaks about we should Not be doing. Weed legal in some places, Gay Marriage Legal BUT YET IM JUDGED!!! Im not doing Nothing for you… My Life!!!!”
Fantasia's rant was a reference to the criticism she's had aimed at her because she began her affair with her baby daddy Antwaun Cook when he was still married. The two became parents just over a year ago.
The angry response brought about a quick statement from Fantasia's management saying she was a strong supporter of "the LGBT community," and Fantasia herself got back into the fray, posting, "I, Fantasia Monique Barrino, don’t judge anyone because I don’t want to be judged. The gay community is one of my largest supporters. I support the gay community as the support me. Bloggers please stop misrepresenting the facts.”

I don't do drugs, I am respectful to all, I give to charity, I vote, I don't cheat and I believe in God.
Seems like a decent human to me.
and your icon is not of proper dimensions. fix it.
And sweetiepie, I cannot respect the desires of all if the desire(s) conflict with my fundamental beliefs. And while I hope gays are afforded all the rights they need, to not be disadvantaged, I'd rather getting married was not the doorway to it.
That's just my belief, if that makes me stupid, ignorant, old-fashioned or even a cunt then so be it.
It's bizzarre that you're fine with gays, but not with them getting that piece of paper making them married.
Your beliefs are based on fictional stories. This has nothing to do with a belief in a god.
Hahaha... people are laughable the way they confidently speak a pack of rubbish.
And if the truly refers to the legal rights, benefits, provisions and exemptions, then I am not opposed to any civil union or partnership enjoying those.
As I have said before here, this is simply about "marriage". I want homosexuals to have every right to act for, in concert with, in consent with and on behalf of the person they love, I just don't want it to be under the term "marriage".
If you don't like that, go ahead. I am not forcing my view on anyone.
But I'm sure you believe your bible and charity work make up for the rest of the hate you have inside.
And this trolling the internet rubbish, did you really think there weren't people who think differently to you? That makes me a troll?
Perhaps you should be a troll because where you are getting upset, perhaps, because of my view, I am simply stating mine and explaining myself.
Try being a troll for a day, you might like it.
And to having differing opinions... that's fine, but realize that your opinion is actually based around hate towards a group even if you are going to pretend to be blind to it. My opinion could be that short people are retarded... but that doesn't make my "opinion" correct or not full of hate. Feel free to stand by your ~opinion~ but also look at the zero support you have received, so your ~opinion~ may be of a incorrect nature.
And yes, we all have hate, but some of us don't hide behind a 2000 year old book and little charity work to mask it. And my hate is based off of good reasoning, not off of popular misconception about a bible verse that was written before Jesus was around and literally on the same page as eating shellfish being a sin worthy of hell.
Rethink your battles you want to choose in life. Fighting a group of people based on how they were born and telling them that their inequality isn't based on hate is a pretty weak battle. And feel free to read the rest of the bible because you shouldn't be part of this site if you actually followed half the teachings of that book.
God bless.
There is no God? Who knows, I choose to believe, there is and I am not losing anything by doing that.
