Interesting combination of "stars" hit Sydney for new years eve



Joining forces with Marquee nightclub, the Star casino group hired a private 747 to fly in more than a dozen high-profile celebrities including Leonardo DiCaprio, Chace Crawford, Samantha Ronson and Jonah Hill to ring in the new year.

While The Star refused to comment on the trip, Oscar-winning actor Jamie Foxx tweeted an image of the private jet which flew them here on Friday.

Glee star Matthew Morrison arrived on Thursday and was spotted dining with girlfriend Renee Puente at Mrs Sippy restaurant in Double Bay that night.

Also flying in for New Year's Eve are Teen Wolf star Colton Haynes, 'N Sync member JC Chasez, High School Musical's Lucas Grabeel, Desperate Housewives actor Shawn Pyfrom, Entourage's Kevin Connolly, Royal Pains' Kyle Howard and My Name Is Earl star Ethan Suplee.

Meanwhile, DiCaprio, Connolly, Suplee and Hill soaked up the sun and the sights of Sydney aboard a luxury cruiser on the Harbour, stopping by floating bar, The Island.
