Oh god, I cried like a little girl watching that. The story behind the sword is that the cast bought it for him and gave it to him on his last day, so knowing that makes it more sad.

the actors wanted to leave, iirc. but did shonda have to so brutally tear them apart? they were my ship!!! i was holding out for a happy reunion and cute scenes. those last words under that wreckage definitely did no justice.

I'm still in shock that Estes was killed on Homeland. I know it gets a lot of negative comparisons to 24, but I like that Homeland inherited that show's willingness to regularly make huge, plot-changing decisions like that.

You SO have to watch it! I was spoiled for that going in but it was still crazy. I'm sad to see that actor go since he was so good at playing a character that could have just been a villain.
