the only thing i've seen gemma arterton in is that awful lost in austen mini-series. ugh it's the worst and i've seen it twice, judging my life choices...

I saw a trailer for St. Trinians and it looked like the woooorst (for my taste, anyway). I'll check out the other recommendations though, thanks!

Tess of the D'Urbervilles mini-series with Eddie Redmayne is probably her strongest work. Also The Dissapearence of Alice Creed

when he says 'our parents didn't abandon us, they were murdered'. that feels like something that shouldn't be revealed in a trailer.
