On going out with friends: “I don’t like going out that much. I’m kind of an old lady. After it’s 11, I’m like ‘Don’t these kids ever get tired?’ When I’m out, I think about my couch.”

On her body: “I’d rather look chubby on screen and like a person in real life.”

On her New Year’s Resolution: “My New Year’s Resolution is to stand up for myself. It’s hard for me. Nobody wants to be disliked. You always want to be polite and be nice. I tried to find a balance in saying what I mean and still being nice. I can’t do it. I have this ‘okay’ attitude and everything. I end up allowing myself to get walked over and resenting it.”

And I don't approve of those comments, but I think it's less a case of overt dickishness and more a matter of seriously needing to be educated. Either way, I like her as an actress, and I like the work she's done. I still think for the most part she seems like a nice person, if ignorant. I can appreciate all that and still cringe at some of the things that come out of her mouth.

Plus she's gorgeous, and I am shallow.

thing is she actually is skinny. she's just not hollywood skinny. like 'it's your job', 'cigarettes and alcohol', 'yummeh green drank and pilates' skinny.

i don't think she comes up w/ the questions herself. considering it's an interview and all, methinks she just, well, has to answer the body question at the risk of sounding like christina hendricks dodging the full-figured inquiry

She doesn't seem to have a problem saying what she thinks, in fact her problem is that she doesn't know when to stfu.

I hope for 2013 she reads some decent non-fiction books especially ones about lgbtq people and learns the value of thinking before she speaks.

I like her as an actress but her stupidity is embarrassing.

i don't love this cover but MAH GAWD she is gorgeous. I literally think she has the perfect body. As a bi woman I want to have that body and hit that body, tbh.

zomg, i think she's speaking for the people who seem naturally skinny but are really just skinny to fit a profile

think christina aguilera, lady gaga, jennifer aniston at their prime. they were skiiiinnnnnnny and 'had to' lose weight for the roles they had to play to get where they are

yeah, some women are naturally skinny. but that's not representative of all women. just like jlaw isn't representative of all women, but still.

I think she's just saying that in order to look skinny on film, it usually means in real life you are probably around a solid 10 - 20 lbs underweight. many female celebrities really are beyond skinny and it's shocking to see them in person. some are very underweight and I'd guess only 10 - 15 lbs away from clinical emaciation (BMI 15).

I've gotten really skinny since I'm always running around after my kid and I still breastfeed her, I tried searching online for size 00 pants and anywhere someone already asked the question 90% of the comments were
"uhh then eat a fuckin sandwich, you're not healthy"
"get help for your eating disorder and you might fit into adult pants"
"quit starving yourself to fit in 00 jeans, that's just sad."

WTF??
