Dakota Fanning: I Told Kristen Stewart to Watch 'Duck Dynasty'!

Seems Dakota has a new reality show obsession!

“I am obsessed with it. I was watching it and totally zoned out. I never laugh at TV even if it’s funny. I never laugh out loud. This show, I was cracking up. I was dying laughing,” Dakota told USA Today. “I called Kristen [Stewart] and told her she had to watch this show. I think it’s the best show ever. They make those duck calls. It’s insane.”

omg I probably live like 10 minutes away from you. & yeah, I can't stand it when people get Louisiana accents wrong on tv. that's part of the reason why I could never get through an episode of true blood. I haven't heard about this show you're talking about though. I'll have to look it up.

to be fair, there's a whole lot of accents going on down there, lol.

There are some locals on the show, but the main people aren't even trying to sound like they're from here. And they are even putting subtitles on them like they are hard to understand!

lulufairybubble 27th-Dec-2012 07:35 pm (UTC)

Hells bells, I barely know my French after three semesters and even I knew there was some bad accenting. I was told my French teacher to spend all break speaking French, er. No. So I'll take it in the fall or summer. So if I can pick out the lack of understanding French based words...

haha i once lived in indiana, where there's a lafayette, & we all pronounced it the first way (like how it spelled)

Yeah, they have Texan and or Kentucky accents on True Blood. The guy who was the murderer in the first season ( Rene Lenier ), the actor Michael Raymond-James did a good job on a Cajun accent I thought.
