Asked during an exclusive sit-down with E! News if getting ready for their son's arrival included making certain changes to his lifestyle, particularly in the marijuana-use department, Khalifa told us, "Not as far as that goes."
"I think it's all about how you're raised with it," the Rolling Papers rapper said. "Before there was a much more negative outtake on it. You know, pot and what it can do, and the effects of it."
"Of course," he added, "I'm not going to be smoking right there over the baby, because smoke in general and being high is not good for a kid. None of that. But definitely he's going to know what it is—and he'll know the difference between being a child and not being able to use it and being an adult and knowing how to use it."
Added Rose, who's well into her third trimester (and who sweetly held hands with her man throughout the interview): "It's just like alcohol, basically. That's how I feel about it, you know. When you're a kid, you know that you're not supposed to drink alcohol, that it's for adults and that's it.
"Our son is just going to know that daddy likes to smoke."
Rose also revealed that she's planning to have a natural water birth at home. "Whatever she wants to do," Khalifa said. "I facilitate that."
"I'm looking forward to the pain, actually," Rose said. "My family thinks I'm crazy, but I want to feel the pain and I want...the end result, just holding my baby and going through all that for him."

The mom-to-be said that, while Khalifa's out on tour a lot, when he's home he's "100 percent" there for her.
Rose also shared a key piece of parenting advice her future mother-in-law gave her: Don't forget about Wiz once the baby comes!
"I said that I wanted to have the baby in the room with us until he's, like, 14," the model joked, "and his mom is like, 'No, he needs to have his own room.'"

i always remember my mom telling me about how when i was a toddler i found a roach on the floor and started playing with it. it wasnt until maybe the last 5 years i realized she meant a weed roach. probably when my love affair started. makes me wonder, when and why did she tell me that?
apparently my dad smoked 2 packs a day and weed before (or up until soon after?) i was born. now hes just an alcoholic. my mom, on the otherhand, is pretty straight edge. and a lightweight. a drop of baileys and that bitch is knocked out cold

his parents died of smoking related stuff. My mom lost her leg and has a ton of other medical issues bc of it. So not worth it.

I got in early for a visit and happened to run into a friend who gave me a ride home, so she wasn't expecting me and I walk in and she's smoking a joint and vacuuming the carpets.
because I also have very staunch and strict Asian parents- especially my mum- and I would kill to have seen this

Then finally, a few days later after a second glass of wine lol she got tipsy enough to admit her best friend (who is legit the hippiest person I know - she's a painter and travel writer who is super ~bohemian~) gave it to her to try the previous year and she absolutely adored it and had been smoking for almost a year when I caught her lol.
Last time I was home I found a bong. She's graduated from joints! I'm so proud! To go from constantly disappointed in me for every little thing to laid-back to the point that it's slightly disconcerting... pretty amazing.

like they FREAK the fuck out about sex talks when it's really not a big deal. they flip over drug discussions...my parents were always honest with me so i always got annoyed when i'd be at a friend's house and i'd make a comment about something ~inappropriate and they'd kick me under the table (this was in high school too)
