what else do you need to complete your outfit bb? can you shop for those things at thrift stores?

honestly, if its for every day.. i think the best outfits are ones that come together based on what you happen to have lying around that day. it doesn't have to be all matchy-matchy super coordinated, over the top, etc. sometimes minimalism can be really powerful too! (and is cheaper!)

What I'd like to put with it is: a blazer (something vaguely dressy since it looks more like an "on the town" dress), a scarf, and maybe a hat. It wouldn't be too hard to find a hat - f21 has the kind i like for only five dollars. Blazers, I never have a lot of luck finding. The best I've ever found in thrift stores is suit jackets :[ Also, for some reason, scarves and good leggings are pretty hard to find, too. I just want a regular, black, knit circle scarf, preferably <$20

ia! only problem is my wardrobe is a majority of sweatshirts and jeans rn :/ I don't really have any casual accessories or varied items, so I've started to try and buy those recently and I'm caught between going for basics or getting more flashy/interesting clothes. Only problem with flashy is that they can't be worn quite as often...

today was my first time going to the sex shop downtown since moving to this city, and i've typically only been to super sex-positive shops (not stag shop or other cheapie ones), but i haven't heard much about this one.. so i didn't know if it was going to be scary, or if the staff were imposing, or.. i duno. but it was AWESOME! the lady was so friendly and gave me my space, but was really helpful when i had qs. and then as i was paying for my stuff at the cash, this song came on from her ipod



so we jammed.

all in all, great experience. would buy from there again!

help help help!!!!! i am in a predicament

my fwb (i dont know if we're that, were not dating and not going too exclusively, but have fun together, are decently close friends) and i said we werent doing gifts for xmas, which was cool with them, then a couple days ago he mentions that he got me a gift, which shocked me a lot, nothing big he said, but i have few ideas for him that arent kinda pricey.

we went to a hockey game once, i had free tickets a few months ago, and i was thinking of doing something along that vein again, but not sure if thats not effortful, he seems to have made an effort. fml i dont know what to get. :(

anyone have any ideas.. he likes hockey, just got his own place, dvds and movies seem kinda cliche ahh
