Meeting the parents is usually one of the most stressful things about a new relationship.
But Taylor Swift could be breaking the mould as she's reportedly set to buy a house near boyfriend Harry Styles's parents in Cheshire, a few weeks after looking into properties near to his north London pad.
The US popstar, who is known for snapping up properties near to men she is dating, apparently fell in love with the area after visiting the One Direction star's parents last week.
The Love Story singer has just spent a week in the UK, visiting all of her new boyfriend's favourite haunts and has clearly fallen in love with the rural way of life.
According to RadarOnline, the star is set on buying a UK house and has been inspired by her visit to Harry's mum Anne.
'While they were in the UK, they had a chance to drive up to Harry's mom's place in Cheshire and Taylor fell in love with the gorgeous countryside. They spent a day in Holmes Chapel, with Harry's mom Anne and his sister Gemma, before driving up to the Lake District,' said a source.
'Taylor would love a really old, thick-walled cottage with a fire place. She has asked Harry if he'll look at some places with her, since he knows the area,' they added.
Far from being freaked out by the potential proximity of their son's girlfriend, Harry's mother and sister are said to be delighted.
'Harry's mother and sister have vowed to help her find the perfect place,' said the source.
Just last month reports emerged that Taylor was flat-hunting near the £3 million North London home that Harry bought in September.
A source told LOOK magazine: 'She's been interested in buying a house in the UK for a while. But after months of not really mentioning it, Taylor's suddenly instructed an estate to get on it ASAP!
'She's even asked Harry if he'll come and look at some places with her, since he knows the area.'
But Harry's not the only boyfriend that Taylor's bought a house to be close to as in August she bought a a $4.9 million property in Hyannis Port, Massachusetts, after spending time in the area with Conor Kennedy.
In 2011, the country star bought a £2.2 million property in Beverly Hills, California, close to the Los Angeles pad owned by singer John Mayer, 35, who she dated back in 2009.
And in 2010, she bought a house in Nashville, Tennessee where she was spending time with then-boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal.
