My knees hurt. Like throbbing, can't sleep pain.
It sucks :( I know it's from running but I don't want to stop running. My doctor couldn't tell me what's causing it either.

No, treadmill.
I don't even run that much. 2 miles twice a week, and of those 2 miles there's quite a bit of walking.

I'm new to the dating game, I usually tended to date men I was already friends with....I finally got a message on dating website from a non-creepy-trollface and we've been talking.

And I suck at talking to strangers. Anyone have any advice for keeping the conversation going and interacting on a dating website? Hahhhh, dumb question I know. I feel like we should keep shooting questions back and forth, but I've run out of stuff picked from his profile to ask. :S

Do you have mutual interests that you could use to spark more conversation? I mean he has a profile, there has to be information on there for asking about! Also ask questions about his fam and work?

That's what we were asking back and forth about but we've covered a lot of his profile now. XD Mine is quite a bit longer than his but I feel self-centered just waiting for him to ask me things and not asking things in return.

I did ask about work (he's a student but whatever I asked if he works too), hadn't thought about family. That'll be next.

Messaging is so awkward though. Hard to have a real conversation. I wanna reply to one thing in his last message but that would end up a one-line message when in person it would be a quick random interjection, BAHHH.

Don't over think it too much, if you want to send back long responses, do that. I mean, there's obviously certain amount of wanting to get to know someone and being conservative about responses in some aspect, but if you want to respond to something specifically do that. It either engages him and it continues or it falls flat.

Talk to him like you would someone in a FFA sort of setting over here. Only you know more about him obviously, so it can be tailored to that sort of small chat. It's all about getting comfortable enough to meet in person for a date.

Ask him about recent events even or what he's studying right now, how his finals are, etc. You're not being selfish by waiting for questions, that's part of small talk, just the back and forth that's built up and finding that back and forth. I mean in the end, you'll never be able to talk constantly and anyone you're really comfortable with won't expect you to constantly chatter on.

Took a snow day from work! I don't know why Kansas City is freaking out about this storm, we should be able to handle it. But I'm not missing an excuse to take a day off.
