I loved it tbh. After marathoning all the Alien movies with friends we were so excited to see this and then all the negative reactions came out and so I was prepared for utter disappointment and for a shit movie and then we watched it and I thought it was really good if a little slow in the beginning and basically we all liked it.
My brother hated it though and complained about the characters and I think there was one scene where I shared his criticism. Apart from that I'm not even sure if people had too high or just different expectations of the movie.
