Jessica Simpson Reveals Her Weight Watchers Body

Almost seven months after giving birth to daughter Maxwell Drew, Jessica Simpson posed for a series of sexy shots showing off her post-baby body.

The Weight Watchers spokeswoman lost 50 lbs. of her pregnancy weight and looks svelte in her new "Expect Amazing" ad campaign, which will begin airing Dec. 25. PEOPLE has a sneak peak at the images of Simpson, which were shot on location in the California desert in late November.

Shortly after becoming a mom, Simpson, 32, admitted that she felt self-conscious about her post-baby body – but said she was ready to get back into shape.

"I think anybody who's gone through a pregnancy, after they have the baby, it's like, 'I need to do something about this!' " she told PEOPLE in May. "For me, I really want to do something that is a lifestyle, because in the past I've been known to yo-yo diet."

So, when Weight Watchers asked her to be their new spokesperson, the fashion mogul eagerly said yes, and signed her friends up for the program, too.

"Weight Watchers changed my relationship with food, and I feel so much more prepared to make the right choices," she says. "It feels pretty incredible."

she looks good, here.
actrisse 19th-Dec-2012 04:08 am (UTC)
I love the Weight Watchers program tbh and she looks wonderful.
arielcharming 19th-Dec-2012 04:10 am (UTC)
Wait, so she isn't pregnant?
musicnextdoor 19th-Dec-2012 04:16 am (UTC)
I think they shot this in the tiny window before she got pregnant again or before baby #2 started showing... 'cause I think she is pregnant. I think.
peddlestools 19th-Dec-2012 04:18 am (UTC)
oh god so she's having a baby less than a year after her last one? that's so bad for your body (and not so much fun unless you have a full time nanny)
callmemaybeplz 19th-Dec-2012 04:22 am (UTC)
She hasn't confirmed/denied the rumours, but this was shot at the end of November when the rumours also started.
twowaymirrrors 19th-Dec-2012 04:10 am (UTC)
So she isn't pregnant then?
arielcharming 19th-Dec-2012 04:16 am (UTC)
jinx!
vehiclesshockme 19th-Dec-2012 04:12 am (UTC)
She looks really good in that still.

I don't know I'm always weary about weight loss ads (in general not Jessica) though because a lot of the time, "I weighed ____!" and they cut to a picture they're actually pregnant in the zomg so fat shot or like I've read about them shooting the after stuff first and then the before stuff and it's all so shady along with, "results not typical" at the bottom.
elvenqueen86 19th-Dec-2012 04:14 am (UTC)
I heard somewhere that they hire athletes (or just people who generally exercise a lot) with injuries, so they gain the weight and when they're better they're obviously going to lose it because it's what they do.
vehiclesshockme 19th-Dec-2012 04:15 am (UTC)
I've heard that too. Also they'll use female athletes that are pregnant for a before.
tigirah 19th-Dec-2012 04:25 am (UTC)
that makes sense, plus athletes have great 'muscle memory' so of course they will look amazing after the drop the weight after a relatively short period of being fat, unlike some people who were fat all their lives and look like deflated, wrinkly balloons.
abordantoinette 19th-Dec-2012 04:24 am (UTC)
"results not typical" = "don't bother" imo
tucker 19th-Dec-2012 04:28 am (UTC)
I always think "results vary" sounds a lot better than "results not typical" lol
therealycats 19th-Dec-2012 04:12 am (UTC)
Echoing the pregnancy thing, although I remember hearing about this BEFORE she announced she was pregnant, so...uh...this could just kind of push that back a bit idk idk
callmemaybeplz 19th-Dec-2012 04:25 am (UTC)
She hasn't addressed the rumours.
therealycats 19th-Dec-2012 11:43 am (UTC)
Maybe not. I thought so but idk
ohkimosabe 19th-Dec-2012 04:12 am (UTC)
she looks good!
sweet_honesty 19th-Dec-2012 04:16 am (UTC)
She looks really good!
peddlestools 19th-Dec-2012 04:17 am (UTC)
smh @ a company that makes its spokespeople lose weight in a certain time frame, that is not healthy
musicnextdoor 19th-Dec-2012 04:31 am (UTC)
THIS. Why have their employees/spokespeople lose weight in a fashion that's not like how they tell customers to do it? Shady.
sowhat_whocares 19th-Dec-2012 05:17 am (UTC)
she had 7 months to lose 60lbs...thats less than 10lbs a month, so around 2, 2.5 lbs a week? its totally healthy time frame.
rctshack 19th-Dec-2012 08:40 pm (UTC)
But she did have a healthy time frame. What is even a healthy time/weight ratio? Everyones body is different.
yunaresuka 19th-Dec-2012 04:17 am (UTC)
ah yes the cleavage has remained
alienclit 19th-Dec-2012 04:17 am (UTC)
She looks awesome but I hate the current societal paradigm towards dieting. In America, most people diet for their looks when it shouldn't be that way. Eating healthy makes you perform better in all aspects of your life and I've learned this first hand. Whatever, though. I think, as a society, we should get rid of processed foods and encourage a raw, organic diet but that will never happen. But it just makes you feel better when you don't eat bullshit. Idk.
ijustwanna_glow 19th-Dec-2012 04:33 am (UTC)
it really does make you feel so much better to eat whole foods, and actually cook your own meals. i notice such a difference. the thing is, is you have to do it for a couple of days in a row before all the goodness really hits you.. and with how busy + stressed people are these days, i just don't think the people that ought to make changes have the time, money, or attention span to do it :(
alienclit 19th-Dec-2012 04:34 am (UTC)
It's so fucking hard but in the end, it's worth it. I've gotten so much more done on a healthy diet than I did eating whatever I felt like eating at the time.
mcwicca 19th-Dec-2012 04:47 am (UTC)
Do you have any recipe suggestions? I am trying to eat healthier but I have never cooked before so I'm at a total loss for what to do. And a lot of the organic meals and plans I've found rely heavily on nuts, which I'm allergic to.
nbyevu 19th-Dec-2012 02:44 pm (UTC)
Do you have any suggestions on easy, whole unprocessed foods that are easy to prepare/cook? My nutritionist really wants me to try this. I am obese but lately I have also been having stomach issues and I think this would help me solve at least the latter.

My issues are that I am usually at work 9 or so hours per day and I commute, so I leave for work at 830 and usually don't get home until 9. It throws my meal schedule off so I try to pick something easy to prepare. I'm also not a great cook, but. I want to try. Any suggestions you have would be much appreciated, seems like you are much happier than I am! :)
mothflavour 19th-Dec-2012 04:39 am (UTC)
I admire your idealism.
champagnexdream 19th-Dec-2012 01:22 pm (UTC)
I've been doing WW on and off for years, and the program does not promote losing weight to look good - they focus fully on health. Yes, they try and get you to buy some of their products, but not exclusively. They push water, fruits, and veggies a LOT.
hypnology 19th-Dec-2012 04:19 am (UTC)
She looks great and I'm glad she mentioned lifestyle change. Some many people don't realize that it's about that.
venus_boy_love 19th-Dec-2012 04:20 am (UTC)
I've been so diet defeated. I got down to a goal weight this year but in the last month and a half, have managed to some how gain 15 lbs!! I do crossfit 4 times a week, but that all gets thrown out the window when you eat an entire pizza for dinner.
venus_boy_love 19th-Dec-2012 04:21 am (UTC)
and by somehow, i mean, by eating entire pizzas.
actrisse 19th-Dec-2012 04:24 am (UTC)
Honestly, try Weight Watchers. It's expensive but it's so worth it. It changes the way you eat.
venus_boy_love 19th-Dec-2012 04:27 am (UTC)
I did it twice when I was a teenager. The first time, I lost 20 lbs. The second time I didn't really care. I've been vegan for over a year, to try to learn a better relationship with food. It worked for a good while until I learned all the tricks and am now a junk food vegan.
tigirah 19th-Dec-2012 04:26 am (UTC)
track your calories on MFP and become friends with people who will yell at you for falling off-track. It works like a charm!
andisprohi 19th-Dec-2012 04:21 am (UTC)
What's the point of a WW commercial if she's covering up with that long shirt ?
rctshack 19th-Dec-2012 08:45 pm (UTC)
The elongate her.
misscrystal25 19th-Dec-2012 04:23 am (UTC)
I used to love the way she would sit on a couch/bed when relaxing. She'd lean back with her legs stretched out literally in front of her face. It was so cute.
