Forbes‘ annual reminder that our youth was a tremendous failure, the “30 Under 30,” features some notable LGBT talents.
Forbes says Kate McKinnon, Saturday Night Live‘s first openly lesbian cast member is well on her way to joining the show’s iconic ranks of female performers, including Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Maya Rudolph and Kristen Wiig.
Of her impression of Ellen Degeneres, which was lauded by the talk show host herself, McKinnon, 28, says, “It’s very flattering. But my one goal when I started was to not actually vomit on television or run away.”
Joining McKinnon in the Hollywood youthquake is Glee‘s Chris Colfer, 22, whose self-penned independent film, Struck By Lightning hits theaters in January:
Meanwhile, the popular-music category was clearly chosen by hyperactive tweens: One Direction, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Taylor Swift, Ke$ha and Justin Bieber all made the grade, as did Grammy darling and noted bisexual modelizer Frank Ocean.

She is much funnier than Kristen and actually does good impressions. KW always did annoying characters that I feel like were just exaggerations of her actual personality.
I'm glad SNL is finally getting a good group of women together again. It's been too long.
