I really hope I get some sort of bonus check. Last year I got $500 and I was blown away. But I don't feel so confident this year. Our company is going through a lot of changes and whatnot. I could REALLY use that money this year.
we don't get our checks until monday. I'm pretty frustrated, ESPECIALLY because when I asked the CFO about our managers being gone, he HELD UP MY BONUS CHECK and said "Bob will probably get this to you Monday." BITCH I AM STANDING RIGHT HERE JUST REACH OUT AND GIVE IT TO ME.
I have no clue how much I'll get. it's graded by how long you've been with the company...

I so badly want to go rant about this on Facebook with all my gun nut friends on there and see how they try to defend this (Well the ones who didn't defriend me during the election)

Instead of talking about mental healthcare and gun law modification and limitations, they go for the scapegoat. These assholes don't realize the government, not Obama alone as some omnipotent leader or some shit, has to change things in order to prevent tragedies instead of simply offer their condolences after the fact. Fuck your empathy. This is the third mass shooting in less than a year. Prevent these from happening so your empathy won't be necessary.
Who ever would have thought that a grammar school would need a metal detector?
Also, to be perfectly honest, while metal detectors could stop some instances of violence I really don't think they'd do any good in the case of spree shooters who could just basically blast there way past metal detectors.
