The ruffled skirt is cute -- but what is an appropriate style of top to wear with it?

I have a similar skirt but cannot figure out what to wear on top :(

honestly i've seen this same look (cropped top w/high waisted skirt) pulled off. you just can't be as top heavy as kim is otherwise it looks really weird.

Iggy Azalea rocks that look really well. Helps that she has a smaller chest so she doesn't look as lopsided.

a looser top that tucks INTO the skirt so the peplum is a cute accent...also i'd prob put a slim blazer that reaches the helm of the skit with it too so you don't see that unfortunate - and unavoidable skin/waist thing going on there
