ONTD Roundup

This customer was being so rude and smarmy last night. Not to mention he'd order stuff that's not even on the menu, or he was spouting "facts" about certain dishes. I death stared him down until he apologized. His wife then made him give me a $15 tip so... yay, I guess. His guests were so obviously embarrassed of his behavior.

At least you got a good tip. It would suck if he was rude and you were stiffed a tip

Ugh, what an asshole. At least the rest of the people recognized what a tool he was being?

Working a part time in customer service/retail shows you the ugliest side of humanity, particularly during the holidays. I cannot fucking stand rude people like that. I'm sorry you had to go through that, bb, but good on you for that tip!

Yeah, it's really sad how someone's true colors appear when they go out to eat, or go shopping in a department store. My friend is so abrupt and kind of rude to servers. He doesn't even recognize it. I worry he thinks he's better than them or something. Although he's not as bad as he once was, it's still kind of irritating. I guess some people's sense of empathy shuts off when they open a menu, or step through those department store doors.

I'm glad that you got an apology and that his guests were as embarrassed as they should be. My friend can get a little weird with servers and I'm just like "Stop, you need to knock it off." and then of course tip like 50% in the end, doh.

Some people just feel like they have something to prove or some shit.

I hate customers like that.
