Before anyone freaks out Qwall wasn't eligible for Beasts of the Southern Wild. She didn't get snubbed like some people, okay?

ETA: by popular request added the TV nominees as well.

LOL

There is nothing to pity him for AT ALL.
Firstly the gif isn't even about the award, secondly even if it was, so?

It's not like his life or career are in jeopardy. He has a career most actors could only dream of, there are award winners that don't have a career or opportunities and options as stellar as the ones he has.

That's why to me it's endlessly hilarious to see him lose at the awards

Chill, sahn! y'all really don't like him, do you? lol
And as I posted in response to someone else, I didn't know where the gif was from - constant usage in the context to which I was referring has conditioned me to view it the way I do lmao

I do like Leo...

I just think all this woe is him and how pouty he gets over not having an Oscar is kind of ridiculous.

Gary Oldman doesn't need an Oscar either but it would be nice for him to be recognised. He's not desperate for it either so I still respect him.

Leo just seems pathetic over the Oscars

I respect Gary for that same reason, but it doesn't make me respect Leo less if - IF - his career is about earning recognition for his hard work. People have different motivations, man. His thirst endears him to me lol.
