Before anyone freaks out Qwall wasn't eligible for Beasts of the Southern Wild. She didn't get snubbed like some people, okay?

ETA: by popular request added the TV nominees as well.

...wh...where the hell is the rest of the list??
ms_mmelissa 12th-Dec-2012 02:50 pm (UTC)
At the source. We're not supposed to post full lists anymore.
la_petite_singe 12th-Dec-2012 02:51 pm (UTC)
We're not allowed to post full lists? I thought it was articles, since that's...actually something written by someone else. That's so stupid.
sheinhardt 12th-Dec-2012 02:52 pm (UTC)
wait, what? I missed this news.
bulimia 12th-Dec-2012 02:53 pm (UTC)
How come?
agnes_perdita 12th-Dec-2012 02:56 pm (UTC)
Are award nominations considered lists too under the new rules? /genuine question
hobnailedboots 12th-Dec-2012 02:58 pm (UTC)
surely if the list is factual information, then it's fine? idek
p2bab 12th-Dec-2012 02:49 pm (UTC)

I get the most awful feeling in the world when I see that gif because i want to laugh but the man is obviously in despair

I never know what to do
ms_mmelissa 12th-Dec-2012 02:54 pm (UTC)
Follow multiple academy award winner Dustin Hoffman's example and laugh. Always laugh.

aw this gif
aw this movie
joaniemaloney 12th-Dec-2012 04:41 pm (UTC)
I love this gif sfm. one of my fav endings, btw.
londonaster 13th-Dec-2012 04:14 am (UTC)
Aww this movie ending. They're both so gorgeous.

actxappalledx 12th-Dec-2012 03:05 pm (UTC)
These comments are so lame. He is in "despair" from what? This is a gif of him during the Morgan Freeman tribute, NOT losing an award
kwikimart 12th-Dec-2012 05:41 pm (UTC)
LOL

There is nothing to pity him for AT ALL.
Firstly the gif isn't even about the award, secondly even if it was, so?

It's not like his life or career are in jeopardy. He has a career most actors could only dream of, there are award winners that don't have a career or opportunities and options as stellar as the ones he has.

That's why to me it's endlessly hilarious to see him lose at the awards
coreycoreycorey 14th-Dec-2012 12:25 am (UTC)
Jesus! These comments! I feel the same as you.
p2bab 12th-Dec-2012 02:50 pm (UTC)
LMAO @ Nicole Kidman for that horrific movie. Now sis...
derrobitch 12th-Dec-2012 03:10 pm (UTC)
sis don't be mad that kween nicole is slaying this awards season, weeing on your faves, etc

p2bab 12th-Dec-2012 03:12 pm (UTC)
At least my faves could still move their forehead.
faeriegodfag 12th-Dec-2012 04:13 pm (UTC)
Are we still hell bent on Zac being gay? Or have we given him the straight pass?
mirandagirll 12th-Dec-2012 05:11 pm (UTC)
The movie was weird, but you gotta admit her acting was flawless
boss_sister 14th-Dec-2012 02:47 am (UTC)
That movie was ridiculously horrible, but she was good.
imkevinspacey 12th-Dec-2012 02:51 pm (UTC)
I watched Romeo + Juliet for the first time in years today and I'm feeling very nostalgically fond of Leo.

cloudynitemare 12th-Dec-2012 02:55 pm (UTC)
That movie gave me so many more feels than Titanic. <3
winegums 12th-Dec-2012 03:06 pm (UTC)
Nothing Baz Luhrmann does will ever top this

and Leo+Claire are still my fav Romeo and Juliet ever.
jaimelannister 12th-Dec-2012 03:20 pm (UTC)
I remember my English teacher in year 10 saying "poor Claire Danes, she tries, but she's just not Juliet". I loved this teacher to death, but I hope she's watching Homeland now.
abordantoinette 12th-Dec-2012 03:18 pm (UTC)
he was so pretty in that movie
feelgooderies 12th-Dec-2012 03:39 pm (UTC)
It doesn't get much dreamier than 90s Leo.
marywebgirl 12th-Dec-2012 04:43 pm (UTC)
This is such a great movie.
londonaster 13th-Dec-2012 04:19 am (UTC)
All I want from this awards season is Leo and Claire reunions, so they need to stop snubbing him.

appleweiland 12th-Dec-2012 02:56 pm (UTC)

skonka 12th-Dec-2012 02:51 pm (UTC)
I have only seen one of those movies. Skyfall.
loganx2 12th-Dec-2012 02:52 pm (UTC)
Nicole Kidman getting a supporting nomination is the reason Im over awards season this year. SAG is turning into as bad as the GG with their starfucking. The Paperboy was a terrible movie and Kidman was bad and hammy in it. I mean jesus. Yes I am upset that Amy Adams was snubbed but her snub would be easier to take if it was for someone that wasnt terrible.

And apparently Django and ZDT screeners werent sent to SAG in time. Harvey doesnt care about them apparently.
ms_mmelissa 12th-Dec-2012 02:55 pm (UTC)
ZDT isn't Harvey though. I'm hoping the ZDT thing is true but Jessica Chastain is nominated. Unless, maybe they just blind voted for her.
bossm 12th-Dec-2012 02:58 pm (UTC)
They surely blind voted. At some point everyone started to talk about her without anyone knowing anything about her role. She should thank her PR team.
loganx2 12th-Dec-2012 03:00 pm (UTC)
oh right Harvey isnt doing ZDT, thanks. Megan Ellison produces both and Harvey has the Master and SLP and I keep getting the doubling confused. Sasha Stone said it about ZDT but who knows.
colonel_green 12th-Dec-2012 03:45 pm (UTC)
ZDT, despite having a big ensemble, doesn't really give most of them much to do. It not getting a Best Ensemble nomination really isn't surprising.
skonka 12th-Dec-2012 03:01 pm (UTC)
Who are you though? Compared to the SAG voters that is; you'd think they would know something about acting and the like.
derrobitch 12th-Dec-2012 03:04 pm (UTC)
Kidman was bad

i beg ur pardon!!
ellaellaeheheh 12th-Dec-2012 03:27 pm (UTC)
sad about Amy too. ridic
liliana_ 12th-Dec-2012 07:12 pm (UTC)
ZDT screeners were sent. Apparently they were received on Dec. 5. But yeah, Django wasn't ready in time.
kvetchy 12th-Dec-2012 02:53 pm (UTC)
Denzel over Joaquin? The master was shit, but damn. Just glad Amy Adams didn't get a nom, because she's incredibly overrated, and even more so in that movie.
slr32 12th-Dec-2012 02:53 pm (UTC)
Aw, that gif makes me feel sorry for Leo. What's it from?
actxappalledx 12th-Dec-2012 03:07 pm (UTC)
It was a shot of him during the morgan freeman tribute, nothing to do with an award
georgiana08 12th-Dec-2012 03:09 pm (UTC)
I'm pretty sure it was when Morgan Freeman got the Cecil B. Demille at last year's Golden Globes.
when_itsizzles 12th-Dec-2012 02:53 pm (UTC)
im more excited for the tv nominations this year
juniorquincy 12th-Dec-2012 02:53 pm (UTC)

Crying in the corner for my baby Amy.

I'm crying with you :/
la_petite_singe 12th-Dec-2012 02:54 pm (UTC)
BOARDWALK GOT THREE NOMS; I'M HAPPY ♥ (though Jack & Kelly should be up too, but WHATEVER). Pressed forever about Alec Baldwin, yet again, because I hate him. Sigh @ Glee getting comedy ensemble; I thought we were done with that. Hooray for Marion, though I'm sad about no Matthias, and definitely about Joaquin. >__________< But YASSSS for Javier Bardem!
joliebelle 12th-Dec-2012 05:46 pm (UTC)
MTE about Jack and Kelly
la_petite_singe 12th-Dec-2012 05:48 pm (UTC)
I will stan for them both until I am dead.

UNTIL

I AM

DEAD

ellaellaeheheh 12th-Dec-2012 02:54 pm (UTC)
I can't deny it, seeing Leo getting snubbed again its like part of the season. we need it. it makes it complete.

and I'm happy for JenLaw. I like her and I honestly think she is a great actress. sorry peeps.
la_petite_singe 12th-Dec-2012 02:56 pm (UTC)
I didn't even like SLP, but she's really good in it.
winegums 12th-Dec-2012 03:16 pm (UTC)
I love that Leo's best-known female costars (Winslet and Danes) went and swept up awards left right and centre while he's basically left in the wannabe dust.

Like, with Kate I was actually thrilled for her to finally be getting it even if lbr The Reader is not the best of her roles, but if the Academy ever threw a pity Oscar Leo's way, it would just be lolworthy.
ponpiri 12th-Dec-2012 03:36 pm (UTC)
Speak for yourself.
ellaellaeheheh 12th-Dec-2012 03:38 pm (UTC)
sorry Leo, don't be sad. you will win someday
ms_mmelissa 12th-Dec-2012 04:31 pm (UTC)
I can't deny it, seeing Leo getting snubbed again its like part of the season. we need it. it makes it complete.

I can't wait for next year with Gatsby. While of his costars will steal his thunder for that movie? Carey Mulligan or Isla Fischer?
piratesswoop 14th-Dec-2012 01:20 am (UTC)
no one is questioning jen's acting skills (well i personally think she's overhyped but whatever) but more like the dumb shit she says in interviews.

saying "i honestly think she's a great person. sorry peeps" would've made more sense though it would've been sideye worthy
