and besides, the low winter sun is the. worst. if ever there's a time you need sunglasses, esp while driving, it's on a sunny winter day.

What? I wear sunglasses year-round. If it's bright or sunny out (even if it's snowing), I wear them.

lol at myself for living in a place where "overcast" is the most prevalent weather condition, I guess.

(You barely need sunglasses in the summer here, let alone in the middle of winter. Winter sunglasses = poseur to me because they are so rarely necessary.)
