When I was little my parrot that knew how to talk and actually make conversation (weirdest thing ever) died and I spent the whole day crying while playing death march on the piano :(

Ahh so sweet! I thought only larger parrots could talk.

I thought so too!
but one day I asked him "What are you doing?" in my language and he said: "Nothing."

and then I asked "What's your name?" and he said his name...

it was so weird....

and he could say some other things too

I was so shocked tbh

This type of parakeet can have a vocabulary as large as 500 words /csb

I had a parrot as well, who could talk and all, and when he passed away I was devastated. It's so weird losing a pet that can talk and can almost verbalize a personality. Sorry for your loss as well :( We call those birds Parakeets in English, I have one as well.

aw i'm sorry :((

I had those almost all my life, always a boy and a girl, one green and one blue, the girls seemed to have lived 2 years most, it was awful :(
but the boy lived long, I think he's still alive...we kept buying girls so he could have company but they kept on dying very quickly idk :/

but then my family decided to get 2 more parrots, one yellow girl that was soo crazy and one boy that could talk...but after some time we had to give some of them up and choose only one because we couldn't take care of them all
and we kept the one that could talk that we had like for 2 years and gave up my parrot that we had since I was born :(

and it turned out that maybe the one that could talk was old because one day he just fell and I heard the sound of him falling off that little thing he used to stand on and that was it :( I was sooo sad :(

and I was left with no parrots :(

sry for writing the whole history omg

I had a parakeet who looked exactly like that. I got him when I was 14 and he died suddenly about two months before I graduated high school. I don't know if I could ever have another bird again. D:
