Yeah, it's pretty Old Hollywood with the stilted cadence and and the Native guy still hasn't discovered articles!

I admittedly don't know much about these characters. I first heard about them from Whose Line. It seems like an offensive portrayal of a Native American to me or a weird parody.

There are like a dozen actual Native American actors who could have done this role so well. Fuck this casting.

To match Armie in hotness, I would've chosen Tatanka Means or Tokala Clifford. I mentioned Wes Studi because he's more well known and seems to be the go-to Native actor when Hollywood needs one. Hell, they could've even got Michael Greyeyes to do it.

I'm not familiar with Tatanka Means, but yeah, I like your choices. I would appreciate a hot Tonto (and maybe if people are exposed to a super hot Native actor, they'll actually want more of them). I think Studi is a bit too old for the role, but I would still take him over Johnny Depp.

Tatanka is one of Russell Means's sons. He's done a bit of acting. He played Crazy Horse in Into the West. Last I heard, he was part of a Native American comedy group. I spoke with him once while I was in Arizona. Very funny, nice guy.

Oh and I agree. He would be so much better than Johnny. Johnny has no business playing a Native American.
