I applaud them for actually dressing Depp as a Native American MAY have looked,[though what I hear even that's debatable] instead of that full on deer suit the original had, but that accent is atrocious! If it's suppose to be in tribute, than it's even worse since the show was noting more than stereotyping NA at the time. Instead of making him sound wise and understanding, it makes him sound stupid and pandering to the white man.
