When it comes down to it she's "old" in Hollywood, her kids have flown the nest and she's suddenly got nothing, I imagine, in her eyes. She needs to find something to fill her life that's not about a lover - because that never lasts and it's even less reliable when you're "famous" and old and female - and not about her kids, and ideally not about seeking huge amounts of attention either.
She seemed to be really sorted out in her "farm mom" days but then we don't know the details - and it seems ominous that her daughters have supposedly cut ties. But it would be nice for her to perhaps go back there and raise horses or whatever it was she did.
