JENNI RIVERA Passenger in Plane Crash NO SURVIVORS



Mexican-American singer Jenni Rivera is missing and feared dead after her plane went down shortly after take off this morning in Mexico.

Mexico's transportation ministry says the plane lost contact with radar at 3:15 AM, approximately 61 miles from Monterrey. It was bound for Toluca.

There were two pilots and five passengers on board, including Rivera, who performed in Monterrey on Saturday night.

3:25 PM PT -- Mexican officials say they believe they have found the plane ... and there are no survivors.

2:50 PM PT -- According to a local TV station, the plane's wreckage has been found, but so far no confirmation on survivors or fatalities.

Man, my entire family in mourning rn. I'm just in...shock, like how do you lose a plane? I dont know all the info but jfc that just so...scary

The scariest was that plane that flew from Brazil and was supposed to go to France (I think?) and just vanished over the Atlantic. That still freaks me out.

When that happens, its because the plane went down so fast that it didn't even registered at the towers that the plane was experiencing problems. It was going to France and they found some of the wreckage. Supposedly it was REALLY thundering and pouring and the plane had no chance :(

Holy that crash had me really shock. I remember at the time I was in Rome and had to fly back to JFK in a few days I totally white knuckled that flight. I think that is truly one of the worst ways to die falling out of the sky at 30,000 ft it wasn't until my introduction to Xanax that I was able to relax at all while flying.

this. all the reports that came out, saying it was struck by lightning before it plummeted. Imagining how terrified the passengers must have been. :( :( :(

and then the creepy follow up story, about a couple that missed the flight but then died in a car crash in Europe a little while later??!

My family used to travel through the area her plane was lost in to get to my grandparents' homes. It's a very mountainy area that gets insanely foggy. If they were traveling in the early morning, that's probably what contributed to it going down.

Sorry, I don't know if you've heard yet or not, but the plane isn't lost. They just found it in Mexico.

what a tragic way to go, she was young, healthy and with a successful career, all deaths are tragic but when is so unexpected like this is even more heartbreaking.

she will be a cult icon, in the same way that Valentín Elizalde is.

i wonder how Televisa will deal with the Voice Mexico, she was a judge there and i'm sure they have footage of her and it would be so sad to air that.

Not a fan, I don't even like her genre but RIP. I foresee a lot of hits albums and ~new singles, also her songs will be party anthems to jam while taking shots from now on.

the first time i saw that doc i had all the lights out, i was so scared i slept with the lights on lol but her death was much more easier to take because she seemed prepared or accepted it days before
