Kate Middleton 'must feel terrible' over nurse suicide, says UK doctor's union

Kate Middleton is likely feeling very upset in the wake of a nurse suicide, experts said Saturday. The spokesman for the British Medical Association, a registered trade union for UK doctors, believes the death of King Edward VII nurse, Jacintha Saldanha, must be weighing on the pregnant Duchess of Cambridge. "Kate must feel terrible. Of course this is not her fault, but she is now being linked with a suicide in people’s minds," the Express quotes Dr. Tom Frewin as saying.

Kate Middleton was being treated at King Edward VII Hospital earlier this week when a pair of Aussie DJs prank called the hospital posing as Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Charles seeking details about the Duchess' condition. “Medical staff should never disclose confidential information to anyone and people who answer the phone should have the correct training and not be put in this invidious position," Ferwin said suggesting HIPPA-like regulations be put into place in the UK. "The secretary of state should put together a set of measures to prevent this happening again; to any patient, not just a member of the Royal Family."

Kate Middleton spent three nights at King Edward VII Hospital in London where she was treated for acute morning sickness. Experts predict, due to the oddity of the circumstances, the Duchess of Cambridge will not hold onto long-term guilt or responsibility for the tragic outcome.

You know for a fact why she killed herself? You were inside her head? Shut the fuck up, you know nothing. People who kill themselves are the definition of weak.

People who kill themselves are the definition of weak.

You really have no fucking clue what you are talking about.

She left her husband and kids behind over this. Not worth it and completely unnecessary. Very weak.

So....it's not okay to speculate about why she killed herself or be 'inside her head', but saying that people who kill themselves are weak is?

You're doing exactly what you just complained about only in the reverse. You have no fucking idea what you are talking about.

It's pretty safe to assume that her fuck up was on her mind when she killed herself, maybe I'm wrong maybe I'm right.

But at least I'm a decent enough person not to pass judgement on people who see no way out.

Also I think you have to be pretty fucking strong to take your own life, knowing that there is no way back? That you will hurt your family and friends and still going ahead with it? Fuck, it that it might not even work and you could end up suffering for the rest of your life.

Yeah, I think they're pretty strong. I felt at my weakest when I was contemplating it but didn't have the guts to act on it.

So yeah, shame on you for thinking you know what these people go through.

You have some serious double discourse right there. While I'm not going to jump on the "fucking weak" bandwagon and judge this particular girl for taking her own life, I'm not going to lie to myself and think that you are being courageous to take your own life. That's why most people choose pills or a high fall instead of a gun. They want to die quick and painless. And it's rather easier to be done with it than to face whatever is troubling you and solve it and keep your life. Some times the challenge is unfaceable. For instance, terminal cancer patients who have metastases to the brain. I completely support those people who want to end their lives because there is truly not a way out. But people who kill themselves because they were bullied in school? I can't sympathize with that because I was bullied in school but I valued my life more than that of the assholes who bullied me. On the other side, if the person truly believes they are worthless because they have been brainwashed by others... there must be some explanation as to why they have become weaker, but it's truly being weak because you have allowed others to brainwash you. It's not simple, but I don't agree that taking your own life is being strong.

I can only speak for myself 13 plus years of depression and have contemplated suicide many times, but when you have a serious mental illness, it's not always about weakness or strength. For example, when you have depression, you are convinced that your family and others would be better off without you, in fact if you've had bad things happen to you in life it's often used by your brain as 'proof' that all you ever do is make people's lives worse/nobody likes you. You very much aren't able to differentiate the truth from the lies your messed up brain chemistry is telling you.

On top of which, this nurse probably had people telling her she was worthless/stupid after her mistake.

so you also think victims of bullying who end killing themselves are weak? moron. youre the definition of a sociopathic person with no sense of compassion. which is a hella of lot weaker/pathetic than any person who commits suicide.

Shut the fuck up. lol
