I might not have been paying attention, but at which part did he go to a distant planet? It seemed to me like he was still on Earth.

He said that everyone had been evacuated (except Morgan Freeman clearly), and he was investigating the ruins of where the superbowl had been played, and at no point did it seem he was on any other other planet besides our own.
gaybash 8th-Dec-2012 05:44 pm (UTC)
The entire trailer didn't seem to fit a story together imo.

Like apparently he is searching earth for something and then morgan freeman is watching him read books and then he finds a casket of someone he doesn't know who he had flashbacks of and then his boos/assistant locks him out the space ship and then they have an argument on the beach?

idk

Goddammit Hollywood stop ruining interesting-looking movies by sticking Tom Cruise in them.
mynamehere07 8th-Dec-2012 05:46 pm (UTC)
Yes. Tom Cruise is distracting in every film he's in because he's Tom Cruise.

I finally watched Risky Business the other day, which I avoided for years because, you know, TC. I thought it was a great movie - and surprisingly, he didn't bother me at all. Since that was the film that made him a star (and hence, cocky), he came across as more natural than in his future roles.

His o-face from the scene on the Chicago 'L' gave me a ladyboner. I felt dirty. Then I watched the scene again.

Is the new movie poster thing to put a man standing in front of some huge mass of destruction/architecture?
niimaa 8th-Dec-2012 09:31 pm (UTC)

Looks awesome.

Then again I'm a sucker for destroyed Earth, underground revolutions and Tom Cruise.

The poster is pretty sweet too.
