No word how the Dark Knight Rises star sustained the apparent injury or what exactly was bothering him, but hopefully he's on the mend faster than his alter-ego Bruce Wayne's back problem.
The happy couple subsequently ended up strolling around the shopping complex and grabbed some burgers at the Counter.
Bale is next slated to star as a con man in David O. Russell's untitled project about a '70s FBI sting operation icalled Abscam. The film costars Amy Adams, Bradley Cooper and Jeremy Renner and is due to start shooting in Boston in February.
