"It's scientifically plausible for humans to contract a virus that changes them into a Zombie."
"Prepare yourself with 'Zombie Apocalypse Tuesday' on Discovery."
Are you ready for doomsday? Or a zombie apocalypse? Discovery Channel introduces a group of ordinary people prepping for a zombie takeover and examines the science behind this end-of-the-world scenario in the new one-hour special documentary Zombie Apocalypse, premiering Tuesday, December 18th at 10PM ET/PT as part of Discovery Channel’s “Apocalypse Tuesday”.
Ivy League professors and scientists speak out in this special to give evidence for this scenario.
Diseases can move very quickly thanks to our global infrastructure – cars, trains, subways and if such a virus were to become a pandemic, the results would be immediate and devastating.
This event isn’t all imagination. Dr. Steven Scholzman of Harvard Medical School explains that it is indeed plausible for humans to contract a virus that changes them into something resembling a Zombie.

I've never seen anything so embarrassing.
/not ashamed.
tbh this sounds like she has a mental disorder and all this attention is probably just reinforcing her behavior...
Everyone really mostly refers to the Western/"1st World" when they talk about end of the world scenarios but idk I feel like 3rd world countries may actually do better in those scenarios.
A lot of the people that live in extremely dangerous areas like Caracas (admittedly not an expert on the area, apologise if I've got it wrong) might could have excellent survival skills for apocalypse style scenarios because they have been through some real shit already.
Hmmm, probably... most people here own guns, so that's something on our favor. Canned goods however would be more difficult to find (Because they are difficult to find even now).
Nah, we would probably be dead in days, because of the panic, people trying to save family/steal what they can/being violent. European/North Americans tend to do better in all that "mantaining morality in times of chaos", "not panicking" way.
Idk tho bb, I think you're not giving your people enough credit. The reason I suggested people could survive is the fact that they are resourceful and you tend to think fast in a bad situation instead of panicking whereas here us lazy Westerners who are used to having everything done for us would run around like headless chickens.
Looting/violence would happen in any part of the world.
Interesting perspective tho!
Can I ask two more questions; do you like living in Caracas and what do you think about the reputation it has?
People with higher living instinct rates are more likely to survive these disasters because these things are like another day for them.
Someone who lives in Pakistan is more likely to survive a zombie Apocalypse because he/she is already surviving another disaster.
