very informative for a ST n00b like me. I expect CB to reach Loki's level of fame on Tumblr.
Analyzing The First ‘Star Trek 2′ Teaser Trailer - What Can We Expect From J.J. Abrams's Upcoming Ma

Ignoring the three-frame clip J.J. Abrams jokingly brought to Conan, the very first official footage from Star Trek Into Darkness was released by Paramount Pictures this morning in a one-minute teaser trailer.
Even with less than 60 seconds of actual footage, there is a lot to take in and dissect, beyond the special effects heavy visuals. So, let’s analyze what scenes and plot points were showcased in our first look at Star Trek 2.
( Guess which villain Cumberbatch isCollapse )very informative for a ST n00b like me. I expect CB to reach Loki's level of fame on Tumblr.
abe is way better than benadryl
like in everything i've seen her in she has this empty glazed look in her eyes like she's not there....
like a stepford wife
but lmao my friend is so bitter about st for some reason. i reblogged a gifset from the teaser, and like two minutes later she made a passive aggressive post under a cut about how much she hates star trek and tagged it with 'cutting it because i'll get yelled at otherwise'
ummmm sis if you really think i or anybody else cares about whether you like st or not, your brain is in the wrong place rn.
no one has any reason to whine after it came into existence.
i don't know, the scene with the touching hands is too wrath of Khan, i am not convinced he plays Gary. Plus all those latino actors that auditioned. Tell me they were not looking for this generation's Ricardo Montalbán
And the Borg jumped the shark with Descent. They ended with I, Borg.
JJ's first Trek movie was a fun action flick, but it was Star Trek in name only. I hate the whole AU universe since it prevents stories from happening in the actual canon universe. Grumble grumble grumble. I do appreciate that it has restored interest in Star Trek, but now they should take that interest and make real Star Trek again.
I'm basing his not being Khan on an angry online exchange I had with Roberto Orci where I challenged him for whitewashing probably THE most iconic non-white sci-fi villain, and he sarcastically replied he and the other writers were inspired by Piss Christ, implying that actually whitewashing Khan would be like shitting all over something important and sacred, which it would be.
Still, I really resent this trolling because whitewashing is real and no joke. Manipulating and not caring about people's justifiable anger just to create buzz and because they're in the minority is pretty fucked up.
and those are my thoughts on yaoi.
