An insider told Heat magazine: "The family were smiling at Kristen and looking totally at ease on the red carpet, (during the 'Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2' premiere) but back at the family home over the following weekend things were more difficult.
"They had a meal on Thanksgiving, and it was nerve-wracking for Kristen. She felt very uncomfortable and Rob's sisters couldn't be completely welcoming. It won't go back to normal straight away, even if Rob has decided to try again.
"Rob's mum wanted him to spend Christmas with them in London and, before their trip to the UK, that had been his and Kristen's plan. From London, they were going to fly to Mexico for New Year.
"Rob's family made it clear that they really want to see him over Christmas and, after the intense promotional tour for Twilight, Rob liked the idea of spending time alone with his family."
A source previously revealed that the couple were still in the process of rebuilding their relationship following her affair but Kristen is making a huge effort to win back his trust.
The source said: "She is working hard at the relationship."

Yes, I do believe her stans think she's a precious victim, especially with all the "omg he made her do it! he seduced her!' talk that came about.
I think it's just the flat out fucking truth that she is working hard so they don't hate her, and she shouldn't be a "victim" for having to right her own wrongs.
I have re-read this comment like 4 times and I still have no idea what I am trying to say. Need more coffee.

Beside that I can't picture Rob's family liking Stew after what she did. Even with Rob forgave her.
I agree, but also, I have to object because years ago I cheated on my first love after we'd been together for two and half years and while his family was pissed at me for about a year, here I am, five years later, and his mom still introduces me to people as her "future daughter in law" & his brother & sister still facebook, email, and text me regularly- I still get invited to his grandma's house for BBQ's & holiday's even. However, he completely is over it with me, has been for a long time, and I am 90% he hates that his family still love me because every other girl he brings home gets snubbed because they want us back together...
Point is, while it hardly ever happens, the family can still forgive. I doubt after 5 months that everything is okay, but it can be again.
