it's Canada's fault :( if you live in a border city like I do, you can have your package delivered to a UPS store and pick it for a cheaper fee. if your purchase is really cheap you (iirc like under $150 for the day?) you don't have to pay taxes. make sure you print out your receipt and take it with you!
