my parents had to put their dog to sleep early sunday morning and i stayed with them that night just cause my mom was upset and i wanted to go say goodbye at the emergency vet since she was my last childhood dog still alive, but i keep having these flashes to her in the oxygen tank (they kept her there to keep her alive for a few more hours cause she couldn't breathe without it) looking so sad and breathing so heavy and then i start tearing up at work like a total wuss.....MAKE IT STOP

Aw, bb, I'm so sorry. My pet passed yesterday and it was tragic. I teared up all day at work, too. Try to remember the good times you had with your dog and feel glad that she's no longer having trouble breathing and is at peace <3 *hugs*

I want to say thank you to everyone for their kind words and thoughts yesterday regarding the horrible loss of my pet, Pepper. ONTD is really like another wonderful family, so thank you all, you really helped me through the day <3

It's so sad - my bird was attacked by my dad's wretch of a dog last week (had all her back feathers ripped out and puncture in her wing) but was showing signs of improvement as of Sunday. Then yesterday she just passed away as my mom was snuggling her. Poor baby. She was fifteen years old and I guess the stress was too much :(

*hugs* I hope you're doing okay. Pets are so dear to us <3

we put our tree up yesterday! it looks like hallmark threw up on it, and i love it. i want to get a little mini tree for my bedroom because i have these, and i don't trust the cat enough to put them on the big tree. she keeps taking the ornaments of the bottom of the tree and putting them in her bed :|

my cats don't even touch the ornaments(we put shitty ones towards the bottom just incase) but they keep trying to climb the damn thing and eat it(it's fake!)!!

when i was younger we had cats and they never bothered the tree and now i have 3 and 2 of them are on a mission to get to the top i swear.

haha, oh cats. thankfully she hasn't tried to eat it or climb up it yet. we've just had to rearrange it a bit so all of the little 'mouth sized' ornaments are now at the top.

i got a total of 4 hours sleep last night, i only had to work a half day and i figured i'd be exhausted so i canceled my PT appointment and here i am....still awake and not feeling sleepy yet.

it's even the perfect day to lounge around, it's raining out. but yet i'm still wide awake. wtf!

It was so warm yesterday and I think they said it was going to be 70 degrees in DC today. I am shocked.
