Amy Adams might not be the first name you think of when tennis and polo shirts come to mind—but her "authentic and simple" nature just landed her a gig with Lacoste.
According to a report in WWD, the adorable actress will be the preppy brand's new spokesgirl for its latest women's scent in the Eau de Lacoste collection.
Starting at the beginning of 2013—you know, should the apocalypse not happen—Adams will star in a Facebook-exclusive video discussing the scent, which drew inspiration from the "feeling on skin of pure white cotton fabric." (Said experience apparently smells like white pineapple, mandarin, jasmine sambac, and vanilla.)
