Prince William and Kate Middleton Expecting First Child


Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton are expecting their first child, the palace announced today.

"Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting a baby," the palace said in a statement today. "The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall and Prince Harry and members of both families are delighted with the news."

Well those royals sure don't waste anytime. Only been married for barely a year. I couldn't do it, enough married life before adding kids to the mix. (IMO) But i guess they have nothing better to do, and won't take care of the kids anyway.

They're actually late in getting pregnant.. usually there's a pregnancy before the 1st anniversary.

they've been married for over a year, and they've been together for a looooong time. and fyi, Diana actually raised her kids and refused to have nannies with her kids all the time, so I probably think this is the route that Will and Kate are going to take as well

tbh very late preg for royal status, it usually they go pregs before the 1 anniversary even better for royal status if they get pregnant after the honeymoon

Most people I know atm are getting married to have kids. They've been with their partners for years and then get married and months late, baby.

hmm if i was royalty with twins i wouldn't tell anyone who was born first and then watch them grow. Whichever is more fit to rule would be king/queen. & i would just fudge the birth certificates.
