I mean, I get why people are saying this, but at the same time it's happened twice now. Twice can't really be considered a reoccurring theme. The prisoners were always expendable, that was blatantly obvious since the beginning. I love Oscar, wish he could have stayed, but story wise? It wouldn't have made sense for all of them to make it out of there without injury when they had 20+ people shooting at them and no way were they going to kill Rick, Daryl, Maggie, Glenn or Michonne.

It's terrible timing. I just... I dunno, Tyrese seems great, the other woman seemed pretty badass too. The two other dudes will probably be dead by the end of the season so who cares.

Im aware I'm going to get torn apart for this comment. If Morgan appears at some point when Tyrese dies, okay. I'm sold on this thinking. But all the deaths have all made sense to me...we can't start believing our lovely little group is invincible. It'll get boring.

Also each incarnation of token black guy has gotten bigger and beardy-er. After Tyrese is ultimately killed they're going to bring on Kimbo Slice, then when he's killed it's going to be Rick Ross, then the show ends because he eats all the walkers.

It was a zombie who clearly wanted to bite people as she was shown nearly biting off the Gov's face in the beginning. She wasn't a threat at the time but you can say that about a lot of the zombie kills.

Penny tried to bite her, and really it was cruel to keep her alive. But then we have moron Andrea who no matter what is just happy to have a guy to fuck no matter how psycho he happens to be

she just made shit WAY WORSE FOR EVERYONE.

I think their love of the "badass" Michonne is overriding the complex emotional dilemma the viewer is SUPPOSED to feel when watching that scene. I 10000000% do NOT think it was intended to be a situation where you're absolutely rooting for Michonne to kill the child, then the Gov. You're supposed to actually *feel* his heartbreak for a moment.

While I hate the Governor and think he's the worst fucking human in the world, yeah, it does suck to see someone finally accepting that they've lost a loved one "for good", and how heartbreaking it is. So I see what you mean.

I was still yelling at Michonne to kill her, just because I thought the Governor would have locked her up in there with Penny or some shit.

Killing Penny with such satisfaction and looking at the Gov while doing it didn't really make sense to me. It didn't make sense that she should get that angry and hungry for revenge just because the Gov sent out a team to hunt her down. In the comic, what she did to the man was absolutely justified. But in the show... I dunno it just didn't click.

As far as Mich knows, Andrea has no idea who those people are, so she has no reason to believe that there being taken prisoner would matter to Andrea.

Even though a fuss was made over AMC letting Frank Darabont go, I really think it was an improvement. This new showrunner really seems to know what they're doing. I feel like Frank Darabont's slow-burn storytelling style is really best suited to movies.
