Oooh - just booked a juicy role on #Revenge on ABC. Hope I get some. Revenge that is.
Words tweeted by actress Sherri Saum, obviously suggesting that she'll be appearing in the hit ABC Sunday night drama Revenge; although she doesn't share anything further, like what exactly this juicy role might be, whether its a guest-starring, or recurring role, when we can expect to see her in it, etc.
Could she possible be linked in some way to Ashley Davenport (Ashley Madekwe's character)? We'll just have to wait to find out. We've reached out to her publicist and are waiting for a reply. This post will be updated once we receive one.
You'll remember that Saum, whose resume is full of TV work primarily, from 3 seasons on Sunset Beach in the late 1990s, 2 seasons on Rescue Me, to episodes of Heroes, In Treatment, CSI: NY and many others, was tapped to co-star in the Jennifer Lopez/ABC Family pilot, The Fosters, that will center on a lesbian couple who suddenly have their culturally-diverse child-heavy household turned upside down when a wayward teenage girl moves in.
Saum will play one-half of the lesbian couple, opposite Teri Polo, and her character is described as an altruistic school principal, who is determined to save as many kids as she can and agrees to take in the wayward teen girl without her partner's knowledge.
Busy times for Ms Saum.
