I thought Jude Law was one of the best parts. Karenin is a very reserved kind of character and idk. I was surprised by how much Jude Law's performance made me intereted in him.
And I liked that the scale was minimal because it was almost completely set in that theater setting because like, idk. The story is about the drama of this small part of Russian society and society is performative and it's about being watched and watching other people. Like it's NOT a story about big worldwide drama and global implications. It's the small tragedy of a few people in Russian society, so I liked that it felt small.
