I just got super into this show, and I'm probably saying what everyone else has said a thousand times already, but I wish this season's story was 1/10th what S1's was.

both seasons have fallen apart as it gets closer to the end though. It's much easier to create mysteries than it is to provide real answers to them.

haha! It's possible! My family and I watched s1 in a crazy 2 day marathon over Thanksgiving holiday and I gotta say when you watch it so close together the plot holes tend to meld all together into one big mess.

i think this season is coming together waaaay better than the first season towards the end.

mte, it seems like this season won't have as many unanswered questions in the end because so far even though they've thrown a lot at us, little by little everything is being tied together.

Season 1 was far from perfect, but I still prefer it over season 2. Even halfway through last season it kept my attention way better than this season has.

Season 2 is so much better imo. I watched season 1 but compared to this one I didn't like it at all.

Hm maybe. I didn't like a lot of the themes they seemed to tack on in S2 like nazis and aliens. S1 just seemed more cohesive to me.
lulufairybubble 30th-Nov-2012 05:13 am (UTC)
i will give it that. it was more put together and they didnt try to do so many things.

I kinda agree but at least each season is a different story, can you imagine multiple seasons of the same story? lordt idek how much more Ryan Murphy can ruin something
littlelamb 30th-Nov-2012 05:15 am (UTC)
Oh I totally agree with you. S1 just seemed to have a more thought out storyline to me is all.

Actually, Ryan Murphy was seriously THE reason why it took me this long to watch the show despite many of my friends suggesting it as a show I'd probably enjoy.

I concur, this season is just...way too all over the place for me. I mean, it's alright but like you said in another reply S1 was just more cohesive and I feel like this one has no story line I want or need to follow. Or too many story lines I can't follow, either/or.
mr_minogue 30th-Nov-2012 06:44 pm (UTC)
This.

There are like 4 different stories going on. Bloodyface, the alien abductions, evil sister Mary Eunice, Nazi doctor... am I missing something?

I have a feeling the finale will only solve one of these plots and leave the others unfinished.

Every single Ryan Murphy show falls apart about three episodes in. I was enjoying S2 until about episode 3, gave in and then accidentally got back into it during the Anne Frank two-parter.

I like all the 60's styling? And Dr. Arden is crazy scary as shit, I quite enjoy that - seeing Chloe's character dragging herself up those steps, eek!

wow, I love season 2 way more than season 1
