Just found out my mum's anxiety/depression medicine isn't working any more, so she's just lying in bed all day... Don't know what to do. I'm in a different country, and it's her birthday in a couple of days' time.

try and see whether you can order her presents or something to be delivered at home! idk what your options are but there might be some gift card options for her to get out of the house (idk spa etc). my dad was alone for his birthday when i was studying abroad in japan but i ordered him dvds and a book from amazon. he opened the package while we skyped :3

I was actually thinking of getting a gift card for a restaurant or something so my dad could take her out. But she's saying that she might go to the hospital "to rest" for a while... sigh. My husband was ready to buy me tickets to go over there, but I feel like it would not necessarily help for me to be there as an added person for her to worry about.

:( I've been there with the lonely and sadness. It can seem at times like there's no end in sight, but it gets better.

Early on I was tempted to get back with him. The longer I stayed away from him the more I saw the things that were toxic and unhealthy in our relationship.

ONTD!! Im writing the LSAT this Saturday!!!! Ahh-so unprepared (barely studied lulz). Any tips/advice/prayers for my black ass?

On a completely unrelated note, I CANNOT wait for this semester to be over. I cant wait to hand in my last final and veg-out on my bed eating Chinese food and FINALLY watching a DVD quality TDKR haha

jk my tip is to not spend too much time on any one question. so many people get caught up in one and it just frustrates them and throws them off the entire time. also when you take breaks don't talk about it.

LSAT? May the gods be with you. Just remember to take plenty of snacks and get good rest. Also, take a lot of deep breaths.

Also, try taking some old exams and timing yourself for five minutes less than whatever time's allotted. That way you'll get used to finishing earlier and leaving yourself some time to check your answers.

My biggest LSAT tip is to stay calm and work quickly. Don't second guess yourself. The test is designed to trick you and defeat you, so don't let it.

Also, when the test is over, get the FUCK out of there (and head to the nearest bar lol). SO many people at my testing site were talking about tough questions afterwards and Monday morning quarterbacking themselves and you do NOT want/need to do that.

Today is my birthday!!! All of my grad school applications are done and later tonight I'm getting drunk and going to see the Joffrey Ballet perform the Nutcracker with the Cleveland Orchestra!! Best day ever!!

When I was around 7 I got a kitten, and my parents gave me a book about cat care so I'd know what I was in for. In the book was a section on cat sex, and it mentioned cats having barbed penises and how it was excruciating for the female cat. So until I had sex ed I thought human penises had barbs too. D:

Tysm. I don't have the money or the desire to go back to school though.

The overall calendar of the company is effed up (always has been), so even if I move to a different position I will probably still hate my job; Back to back impossible deadlines, demanding co-workers, and ridiculous requests from offsite "team members".

i've been at my job for 3 years, and i started out loving it, but now i hate it with a passion, but it's convenient because i have a coworker i ride to work with. i don't have a car, so finding a new job stresses me out. i think i'm gonna stay? idk :/
