Jessica Simpson Is Pregnant Again!

1354048895_u930cover-article
Christmas is still nearly four weeks away, but Jessica Simpson got her biggest -- and totally unexpected! -- present early: Another baby on the way! Seven months after giving birth to daughter Maxwell Drew Johnson, the star is once again expecting, the new issue of Us Weekly exclusively confirms.

"It definitely wasn't planned. But yes, Jessica is pregnant again," a source reveals to Us. The surprise baby-to-be is the second for the singer and Fashion Star mentor, 32, and fiance Eric Johnson. (A rep for Simpson had no comment.)
Engaged for the past two years, Simpson and former NFL pro Johnson, 33, welcomed Maxwell -- a whopping 9 pound, 13 ounce bundle of joy! -- on May 1 of this year.
And while Simpson felt energized about her admirable 70-pound slimdown post-baby, her greatest inspiration is being a mom.

"Motherhood is a dream," she told Katie Couric back in September. "It really is absolutely amazing."
Wishing a Happy Thanksgiving to her 5.7 million Twitter followers Nov. 22, she gushed: "I am so grateful for my new lil family!"

Woah that was fast
Congrats to her tho
mynamehere07 28th-Nov-2012 01:23 pm (UTC)
Good for her.

Having two little bb's at once is gonna be rough.
klutzy_girl 28th-Nov-2012 01:25 pm (UTC)
Well, congratulations if this is true because it's exciting, but damn, she just lost all that weight!

(And slightly terrified of another Tori Spelling situation happening because her pregnancies are close together, too, and she had a c-section. But doubt it.)

Uh yeah. I was told to not even try to have another one for a year by my doctor after my c-section. And my mil told me how painful her pregnancy with my husband's brother was due to the fact they were so close together after a c-section.
smashy 28th-Nov-2012 04:00 pm (UTC)
Your mother-in-law got pregnant by your husband's brother?
publicfrenemy 28th-Nov-2012 04:05 pm (UTC)
there's less risk for vaginal birth. Since I'm infertile, I told my gyno I wasn't using birth control and if we had an accident we'd be happy. Since I had a vaginal birth, they were cool with it and said I could get pregnant whenever I wanted.
getchasum06 28th-Nov-2012 01:26 pm (UTC)
Jessica, seriously? They tell you to wait 6 weeks for a reason, and then they start you on birth control. Not like I have room to talk though, I was harassing my husband for sex a week after my 9 pound baby was born, haha. I regret getting the mirena, the bleeding is never ending.
vonlisbon 28th-Nov-2012 01:41 pm (UTC)
that sux girl

I love my Mirena to death
curious_maya 28th-Nov-2012 02:05 pm (UTC)
I loved the Mirena, but I went back to the pill after having it in for 5 years. My adult acne was terrible and I need the BC pills to control it. (((sigh)))
familyjules 28th-Nov-2012 06:24 pm (UTC)
Mine's due out in May I think I will hold off on getting another one and go off bc altogether because I think that my Mirena absolutely murdered my sex drive so I want to see if it will come back. I guess that means it's really effective form of bc if I never want to have sex, but that's no fun! My poor husband :(
lo_anxiety 4th-Dec-2012 02:29 am (UTC)
I got the worst adult acne due to the Mirena! Yaz cleared it up.
littlehayzay 28th-Nov-2012 03:00 pm (UTC)
She had the baby seven months ago, though
chrismakkuh 28th-Nov-2012 04:11 pm (UTC)
...but she did wait six weeks...?
diosabellissima 28th-Nov-2012 05:25 pm (UTC)
Why would she go on birth control if she wants more kids?
6pennylane 28th-Nov-2012 05:27 pm (UTC)
did you just get your mirena?? i bled for 40days after i first had it inserted and then no periods after that.
britaloonie 28th-Nov-2012 05:59 pm (UTC)
but maxi is 7 months old and if she is only 9 weeks along, she didn't get pregnant until 16 weeks later.
deathbytamarind mirena28th-Nov-2012 06:41 pm (UTC)
I spotted for a few days after my insertion, had one period a month later, and haven't had a period in four years. Mine's due to come out in March 2014. I've never been pregnant or given birth, though so maybe it's different when your uterus has just expelled a life form. :/
drasticsigns 28th-Nov-2012 11:35 pm (UTC)
The side effects from my Mirena are horrible. I have to take BC pills to balance them out.
celtic_thistle 28th-Nov-2012 11:35 pm (UTC)
omg the Mirena killed me. I had it put in even though I'd never been pregnant and it gave me a little round fake-pregnant belly with stretch marks. And the pain and bleeding NEVER ENDED. Best of all: I had to be dilated and have it removed because the strings wrapped back up around the goddamn thing and they couldn't get it out that way. :D
hotness3ya 28th-Nov-2012 01:26 pm (UTC)
Congrats! (if it's true)
saffronshire 28th-Nov-2012 01:29 pm (UTC)
I would be terrified to be pregnant so soon after a baby.
bathstone 28th-Nov-2012 02:31 pm (UTC)
Same here.
rinanina101 28th-Nov-2012 03:35 pm (UTC)
why? is there like a medical reason or something?
saffronshire 28th-Nov-2012 03:41 pm (UTC)
Not that I'm aware of, but you already have zero time for yourself when you have a baby, especially when it's your first and you're learning how to deal with one and hop! you're pregnant again, which is tiring and takes a tool on the body, and you have to deal with a baby on the side.
jlb88 28th-Nov-2012 03:48 pm (UTC)
See: Tori Spelling.
leahkatharina 28th-Nov-2012 04:06 pm (UTC)
yeah, your body needs time to recharge, having two babies too close together leads to all kinds of complications and increased risks for the second baby. you should wait at least a year between them
westamp 28th-Nov-2012 05:44 pm (UTC)
Dealing with two kids is a lot different that dealing with one. I can tell you that I was a lot busier (I never got to sit down - the bathroom was my only break) and things were chaotic. My kids are three years apart so at least I had one kid that was potty trained.

For her, that's two kids under two so it's just too much. I know she has nannies but still.

Also, ever heard of birth control. Eric Johnson, get your johnson in a rubber if you want to jump her. Not only is he lazy but he's an idiot too.
maryam 28th-Nov-2012 06:18 pm (UTC)
sleep. sleep is the reason.
tsarinakate1 28th-Nov-2012 04:51 pm (UTC)
God - a girl I went to high school with had a baby the day after her first child turned 11 months. CAN YOU IMAGINE HOW HORRIBLE THAT WOULD BE. Anytime she posts pictures on facebook I just want to shout LOOK AT YOUR LIFE CHOICES.

Mostly because she is younger than me, and I am not sure they are actually financial planning.
simplychristina 28th-Nov-2012 06:26 pm (UTC)
I have two cousins and each has two boys born a year apart. It's completely nuts.

Back 50 years ago, my grandma had four children between 16 and 21.

thatgirlemily 28th-Nov-2012 07:28 pm (UTC)
mte. I had my second baby (3.5 years after the first) this past May too. I cannot even fathom being pregnant now. That would SUCK.
levenah 28th-Nov-2012 07:31 pm (UTC)
my husbands cousin had a baby young, and then when they were 13 months told us she was 7 months pregnant...WITH TWINS.

And she wasn't with either of the baby daddies.
joe_pwnz_pete 29th-Nov-2012 03:29 am (UTC)
my husband is the eldest of three kids and he's fifteen months apart from his sister (middle child) and she's fifteen months apart from the youngest brother. my MIL brags all the time how easy it was to have three kids in three years and always tells us that if we wait too long then our kids won't be close emotionally and i'm like "lol the two boys get along the best and they are two years apart" and how she actually wanted four in four years, but then my husband's dad got a vasectomy because he legitimately could not convince her to go on birth control because he didn't want more kids.
bigbranch 28th-Nov-2012 01:30 pm (UTC)
that sounds exhausting
hisdreamgirl_dn 28th-Nov-2012 01:31 pm (UTC)
First thing in my mind, tbh: "Damn, she just lost all that weight"

But maybe she will make healthier choices this time around. Congrats anyways.
derangeddream 28th-Nov-2012 01:35 pm (UTC)
i thought the same thing
fever 28th-Nov-2012 02:34 pm (UTC)
that thought probably crossed everyone's mind.

I've lost weight myself and if I got pregnant rn or next year I would be pissed.
haverchuck_bill 28th-Nov-2012 02:44 pm (UTC)
mte to all of this.
klutzy_girl 28th-Nov-2012 01:31 pm (UTC)
I know RadarOnline is completely unreliable, but they're reporting the same:

Congratulations may be in order again for Jessica Simpson because a new report says she’s already expecting baby number 2!

The National Enquirer is exclusively reporting that Jessica and her fiance Eric Johnson recently discovered that she is pregnant again.

“Jessica is only nine weeks into this pregnancy,” a source close to the Simpson family told the Enquirer.

“She’s trying to keep it a secret until she makes it safely through her first trimester.”

Wow, fuck whoever this is for leaking the news if this is true and she wanted to keep it a secret until after she was past the first trimester.

xdecadentx 28th-Nov-2012 01:49 pm (UTC)
They're using National Enquirer as a source though...
6pennylane 28th-Nov-2012 06:50 pm (UTC)
we should remember how long it took her to "confirm" last time...
lexiesloan 28th-Nov-2012 01:31 pm (UTC)
I read this earlier this morning and I wasn't sure if I believed it or not. I guess it is if US is reporting... ? Congrats if it is true.
poison20 28th-Nov-2012 01:32 pm (UTC)
lol weight watchers must be pissed
klutzy_girl 28th-Nov-2012 01:33 pm (UTC)
Possibly, but she can just go back to them after she gives birth again and lose that weight!
poison20 28th-Nov-2012 01:36 pm (UTC)
lbr bb that ain't gonna happen
starry_nights22 28th-Nov-2012 01:40 pm (UTC)
that was the first thought that popped into me head. although maybe they can use it to their advantage, because if i recall they do have a system for pregnant woman, so maybe they'll turn it into staying healthy and making good diet decisions while pregnant?
diosabellissima 28th-Nov-2012 05:26 pm (UTC)
IDK, if they were smart, they'd angle this into some OB approved healthy eating plan for pregnancy. Like, some sort of tailored to pregnancy, less focused on calories and weightloss and more focused on healthy meals thing.
snortingcoke 28th-Nov-2012 01:33 pm (UTC)
oh fuck no i couldn't pop out two babies in that short a time. i don't even want to pop out one.
poopanna 28th-Nov-2012 01:47 pm (UTC)
mte
fluorescentx 28th-Nov-2012 01:54 pm (UTC)
mte she is a braver woman than I am.
ludagurl3d 28th-Nov-2012 01:57 pm (UTC)
i feel like back to back pregnancies would be such a wear and tear on a woman's body. pregnancy involves every organ system, and it's like, damn, at least give your body the 9 months to recover. i cannot with women who get knocked up <6 weeks later and have irish twins.
a_new_haven 28th-Nov-2012 02:07 pm (UTC)
I'm weeks away from having my second, and my first is almost 5. No WAY could I do this was a baby/toddler. Much nicer with a 4 year old who doesn't need to be picked up...and who can pick things up off the floor for me :).
atomicdogmeat 28th-Nov-2012 02:54 pm (UTC)
irish twins.

That is such a gross term.
therearewords 28th-Nov-2012 01:35 pm (UTC)
Probably thought you couldn't get pregnant when you're still breastfeeding.
anchors_oceans 28th-Nov-2012 02:26 pm (UTC)
reminds me of "i didn't think i could get pregnant because i was on birth control, even though i missed a few pills."
therearewords 28th-Nov-2012 02:42 pm (UTC)
"He pulled out before finishing so we're fine"
winniechili 28th-Nov-2012 01:36 pm (UTC)
Can't believe she made millions from Weight Watchers to barely do anything and then got pregnant again. Life isn't fucking fair man. *whomp whomp*
kiki3291 28th-Nov-2012 01:51 pm (UTC)
Seriously. Good for her but damn she got a huge payout and I don't even remember her promoting WW, except for maybe one commercial I saw.
maidenhell 29th-Nov-2012 06:11 pm (UTC)
Which was from the neck up.
ludagurl3d 28th-Nov-2012 01:58 pm (UTC)
yeah, her WW commercial only ever showed her face. She got 4(?) million for that?

/is bitter
victory_goddess 28th-Nov-2012 02:24 pm (UTC)
She makes ever more off her clothing line while doing nothing (have you seen her fashion choices? There's no way she's making any executive decisions on her own collection.)
meganlynn09 28th-Nov-2012 01:37 pm (UTC)
I didn't think it'd been 7 months already. But congrats to her. If it's true?
