The emergence of Angus T. Jones' video testimonial for religious group the Forerunner Chronicles -- in which he trashed Two and a Half Men as "filth" and said he no longer wanted to act on the CBS sitcom -- came as a shock. But the man behind the Christian organization has long been at odds with Hollywood, pop culture and liberal America.

Ever since this past election and the bullshit from all the republicans (ad from watching too much Real Time and George Carlin) I've seriously grown an intense distaste for religion. People are just getting two fucking ridiculous with it.

For me, and I might be extremely jaded bc I grew up fundie, the ridiculousness has always been there. But it's become more mainstream and open, especially since most extreme fundamentalists vote Republican and stand for the same things they do (pro-life, pro-death penalty, Christianity in everything, etc). I'd say it goes back to G W Bush's first election when the majority of the evangelical community voted for him and declared him 'God-appointed'.

It's all pretty triggering for me, as much as that word irks me lol

Ugh. This is just so sad. This young man is barely more than a child. And a VERY wealthy one at that. Horrible people are going to prey on him, and it looks like one got their hooks into him.
