Ed plays the song he should have kept for himself

A few days ago at his intimate gig in Paris, Ed Sheeran stunned the super lucky crowd into silence with an absolutely amazing accoustic performance of Little Things, the song he penned for One Direction.

OH ED, DO YOU REALISE WHAT YOU'RE DOING TO US?

(This one has better/louder audio of the actual performance)

The crowd's reaction to the performance said it all really - as every single person fell completely silent to hear the acoustic rendition of the swoon-some song. HOLD US.

We're thinking a collaboration performance between Ed and the 1D boys need to happen ASAP - or we might just burst.

I enjoy his music but his live performances are so painful. Easily one of the worst concerts I've ever attended.

really? everyone i've heard of who has seen him live raves about him.

idk, as much as i like his music i don't really like going to concerts with solo artists. i like to be entertained, as shallow as that may be.

that makes no sense.... While I love the both of them, I'm assuming you'd think 1D is amazing live?
Ed has tons of videos floating around on the internet proving he can perform, so why he'd just give up at an actual show makes 0 sense..

But a 2.5 hour set of performing 12 songs? I understand you want to make a connection with your fans but it's completely unnecessary to share a story about EVERY song when people are fainting in the pit left and right. I'm not saying he can't sing, I just wish he sang more than he talked in concert.

Well that's different. I see what you mean but if majority of his fans enjoy it.. he's gonna stick to it, yanno? :/

Definitely! It was definitely an experience and I'm still excited to see him support Taylor because I know he'll be in a time constraint. I remember recording "You Need Me, I Don't Need You" for 15 minutes.

Omg his extended version of that song and "Give Me Love" slay my liiiiiife. I know it's annoying for most, but they're my two all time favourites of his. And all the verses and loop pedal uses in them... kill me.
