I had been so happy with the pilot/premiere! Blair was flawless, and I was convinced they'd make it even better than the books (because in retrospect, honestly, that would've been so easy).

These dumb fickle writers. #smh

Haha yeah. She's never been kind to me and I admit I felt a bit vindicated in seeing her hopes dashed, but I completely know what it's like to have a victory totally taken away from you. Like she'd gotten the part and filmed it and been paid, but no one will ever know about it.

I was so lost halfway through the episode with this Bart plot back and forth shit.

So Blair's big "comeback" revolves around her high school life? Everything about her revolves around her high school life. Actually, I legit think they mention high school at least once per episode. Maybe b/c that's the last time the show and characters were interesting.

Nelly Yuki is just a side character and she's grown and evolved more than the main characters on the show.

I won't even bother with the Chair BS.

NGL, I was cackling when Dan told Georgina he was writing his chapter on Serena.

The characters seriously come off as perpetual teens. What was the point in having them all start college just to pretty much flunk out? I also don't understand why they can't just show Blair being a successful businesswoman.
