BBC keeps with tradition, releases horribly photoshopped Doctor Who promo

The newest promotional poster for this year's Doctor Who Christmas special, "The Snowmen", has been released.

Synopsis from the BBC:
Starring Matt Smith as the Doctor and introducing Jenna-Louise Coleman as Clara, his new companion, this year’s Christmas Special is called The Snowmen and follows their adventures as they battle the villainous Doctor Simeon (Richard E Grant) and his army of sinister snowmen.

The prequel to the episode and its official trailer were released November 17, for Children in Need. "The Snowmen" will air on BBC1 on Christmas Day.

What do you think, ONTD? I think it's horrible in that very special way only BBC photoshop can be, but I'm excited to meet Clara.

Wait...what? You mean they hired the actress for one role and then hired her for a completely different role later on?

Is the BBC running out of white actresses to hire?

Well they had to have hired her for both around the same time, or actually simultaneously, because she was announced as the new companion while they were still filming the first half of the season. IDK what they think they're doing here.

So basically Moffat is going to try and be "clever" except, like the River is the Ponds' daughter thing, the entire fandom will have guessed it already because he'll have telegraphed the ending 2 episodes in.
